Work Hours are used to display the monthly/weekly/daily view of work hours for individual employees you as a leader or administrator have access to. The monthly view can be broken down into weeks and days for each employee, which gives the user approving work hours the option to see registered work hours and absences in detail.
By default, an empty Dashboard will be displayed. Click on Work hours to view work hours for a selected employee in a table view.
Start by searching for a department. Only departments your user has access to will be available in the drop-down.
Once you've selected a department, the next step is to select an employee. Pick an employee from the drop-down to view the employee's work hours.
In case you also want to see hours registered on tasks and for a specific customer, use these filters to view these hours too.
Month - the monthly view will be displayed by default, with the current month/year. The back and forth arrows allow you to navigate in monthly spans into the past and future. Registrations for each day of the month are displayed.
Clicking on the Approve month button will approve all days for the current month.
When approving the month, the approve month button will be enabled at all times, except after the month has been confirmed. In that case, the approve month button will be disabled. Confirm the action in the pop up that shows up.
NB! When approving the month, all weeks and days up until the confirmation day for the given month will be approved.
Week - clicking on the Week tab will display the first week for the selected month and shows entries for each day of that week. The first day of the working week (Monday by default) will be displayed first. This view will display all registered work hours and absences for each day. Weekly entries will show a sum of all hours/absences.
Clicking on the Approve week button will approve all days for the current week.
When approving the week, the approve month button will be enabled at all times, except after the week has been confirmed. In that case, the approve week button will be disabled. Confirm the action in the pop up that shows up.
NB! When approving the week, all weeks and days up until the confirmation day for the given week will be approved.
Day - clicking on the Day tab shows details of registrations for each day. If the day hasn't been approved, it will be possible to manually register hours for each salary type.
The daily view will also allow you to:
- See clock in details by clicking on the See clock in details button
- Unapprove the selected day either because this was done by mistake or because you want to add or remove registrations for he selected day.
Use the date picker for easy navigation to other days.
